Terms & conditions
Last updated:
These terms apply when you enter a Bedsys Competition. Please read them together with the details shown on the relevant competition page before entering.
1. The promoter
Bedsys Competitions is operated by BedsysBikes MX & Enduro Specialists Ltd, Unit 2B, Arrow Trading Estate, Corporation Road, Audenshaw, Manchester, M34 5LR. You can contact us at info@bedsysbikes.co.uk or 0161 641 7545.
2. Who can enter
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. Employees of the promoter, anyone directly involved in running a competition, and their immediate families may not enter. We may ask for reasonable evidence of identity, age, address or eligibility before awarding a prize.
3. Competition information
Each competition page states the prize, entry price (if any), maximum number of tickets, per-person limit, opening time, closing time and draw time. Those details form part of these terms. If a competition-specific detail conflicts with these general terms, the clearly stated competition-specific detail applies.
4. Paid competitions
To enter online, select the permitted number of tickets, provide the requested details, answer the skill question correctly, accept these terms and complete payment through our hosted payment provider. An online entry is confirmed only after payment is successfully received and ticket numbers have been allocated.
5. Free postal entry
Every paid competition also has a free postal entry route. Send one postcard by ordinary first- or second-class post for each entry. It must include your full name, address, email, date of birth, the exact competition name and your answer to its skill question. Postal entries must arrive before the published closing time and remain subject to the same eligibility and per-person ticket limits as paid entries. Full instructions and the postal address are on the free postal entry page.
6. Online free draws
A competition marked FREE requires no purchase or payment. Entry is limited to one ticket per verified account. You must sign in, provide the requested details, answer the skill question correctly and accept these terms. Free entries cannot be transferred between accounts.
7. Skill question and valid entries
A correct answer to the published skill question is required. An incorrect answer does not create an entry. Entries that are automated, incomplete, illegible, late, made using false details, exceed a stated limit or otherwise breach these terms may be rejected. We may take reasonable steps to prevent fraud, abuse or attempts to obtain an unfair advantage.
8. Ticket allocation and limits
Ticket numbers are allocated from the available pool when a valid entry is confirmed. Paid and accepted postal entries use the same ticket pool. The maximum number of tickets and per-person limit shown on the competition page are enforced across entries associated with the same person or account. An entry cannot be accepted after tickets have sold out or entries have closed.
9. Payments
Online card payments are processed by Stripe on its hosted checkout pages; we do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable charges unless the competition page says otherwise. You are responsible for ensuring your payment and contact details are accurate.
10. The draw
After entries close, the winner is selected from all eligible ticket numbers using the auditable computer process described on this site. Paid and free postal tickets are treated identically by that process. The result is recorded and the draw is streamed live where advertised. After a completed draw, the published verification page can be used to reproduce the recorded result without exposing entrants' personal information.
11. Winner and prize
We contact the winner using the details held for their entry and may require proof of identity, age, address and eligibility before releasing the prize. The advertised prize will be supplied subject to these terms. Where a competition page states that a cash alternative is available, the stated alternative may be chosen. If circumstances outside our reasonable control make the advertised prize unavailable, we may provide a prize of equal or greater value.
12. Cancellations and refunds
A paid competition may state a minimum number of tickets required for the draw to proceed. If that published minimum is not reached by the closing time, the competition may be cancelled and paid entries will be refunded in full to the original payment method. We may also cancel where circumstances outside our reasonable control make it impossible to run the competition fairly or provide the prize. Free entries involve no payment and therefore have no payment to refund.
13. Other refunds and payment disputes
Confirmed entries are non-refundable unless these terms, applicable consumer law or the promoter say otherwise. If an entry's payment is refunded in full, reversed or successfully disputed, its tickets become ineligible and are excluded from a later draw. A partial refund does not automatically cancel an otherwise paid entry.
14. Personal information
We use personal information to administer entries, process payments, allocate tickets, prevent abuse, contact entrants and winners, deliver prizes and meet our legal obligations. Transactional messages are not marketing. Marketing is optional and is never a condition of entry. More information, including your data-protection rights, is in our privacy notice.
15. Changes, availability and liability
We will not change a live competition's material rules or closing time unless circumstances outside our reasonable control make this unavoidable and the change can be made fairly. We are not responsible for entries delayed or lost because of postal, network, device, email or payment-provider failures outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or affects rights you have under consumer law.
16. Complaints and governing law
Questions or complaints should be sent to info@bedsysbikes.co.uk with the competition name and enough information for us to investigate. We will review the matter and respond using the contact details you provide. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You retain any mandatory rights to bring a claim in another UK jurisdiction where applicable.
